The design industry is ever-evolving, but we can stay current and bring home new inspiration from the beautiful spaces all around us. From physical elements that make people warm and comfortable, to essentials that aid in entertainment and ambiance, we profile some iconic and impeccably designed public spaces that took a place and turned it into a stunning statement with the beauty of Caesarstone.
For an iconic lobby bar, you need an iconic design. At the Thompson Hotel in Toronto, the Lobby Bar invites and intrigues overnight guests and daily visitors alike with its bold style and idiosyncratic touches. A massive mural wall stretches through most of the space, but it’s their use of Caesarstone’s 5100 Vanilla Noir that rounds out the entire space with contrast and complementary colour. While the rest of the space is darkly lit with moody corners and modernist furniture, the quartz bar is a literal bright spot in the space, and the centre of attention for those checking in and out – especially for those with a craving for a well-made cocktail.
BOTANIST FAIRMONT PACIFIC RIM
The Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver is known internationally as one of the world’s most picturesque hotels, and tucked away inside the epic space is an impeccably designed and decorated restaurant called Botanist. While the name correctly implies an abundance of natural light, greenery, and pale, earthy tones, the restaurant pairs their green side with a dreamy décor draped in millennial pink. Caesarstone’s 5220 Dreamy Marfil, was a natural choice for their quartz surfaces, adding to the restaurant’s clean but luscious feel.
SORELLE AND CO.
Sorelle and Co. is a gluten-free, soy-free, sesame-free, nut-free, preservative-free and completely vegan bakery. But make no mistake, Sorelle and Co.’s interior design is full-on indulgence. White, airy, and angelic, with subtle gold accents, this hotspot fell in love with Caesarstone’s 5131 Calacatta Nuvo like their customers have fallen for their cupcakes.
